SMAL Events

Happening Saturday, June 8th. Features this month include live music by Full Moon Medicine, featured artist Micro Terra S.A., featured non-profit organization Calaboose African American History Museum, and free arts and crafts for the young (and young at heart!).

Also happening downtown will be the weekly Farmer's Market from 9am-1pm, San Mercado at the Price Center, and the new Second Saturday Downtown Walkabout from 4-7pm featuring Scoops on the Square!

There are so many reasons to come downtown and stay awhile!

SMAL Field Trip

Join the San Marcos Art League for another fun-filled field trip to Jack & Elaine Rosenberg’s Welding Studio and Born in Zorn Farm on June 5th!

Visit their welding studio, off of Highway 123 in Zorn, where they turn recycled metal into unique works of art. See huge animal sculptures dotting their fields and pick organic peaches and blackberries or purchase their fruit and preserves at their Farm Store (baked goods are available on weekends).

We will meet to carpool at 5:30 pm at McAllister’s Deli in San Marcos, Texas and will leave from there. Click the link on the image for more info.
