Art League Logo Design Competition

Deadline Dec. 8th

The San Marcos Art League is getting a fresh new look, and we need YOUR participation! We're looking for a new logo, and where better to look than a fun and vibrant group of artists? Please submit your logo ideas to info@artleaguesmtx.org no later than November 10th. The SMAL Board will take a look at all of the submissions, and the winning artist will not only have bragging rights, but will have a special section of the SMAL website devoted to them and their art, and will be awarded a $200 stipend!

The winning logo will be seen far and near, as it will be included on the website, brochures, banners, t-shirts, etc. We're looking for something eye-catching and original that can be instantly identified with the Art League.

So come on, let your artistic voice be heard

Third Thursday Walkabout

There's no better way to get to know San Marcos than to visit our local downtown area! Join us for this Third Thursday Downtown Walkabout and see what each business has to offer, from flash sales and drink specials to art openings and live entertainment.

Stop by the Kissing Alley Concert Series, hosted by San Marcos Texas Radio 104.1FM KZSM and stroll Art Row, featuring artists from the San Marcos Art League. Be sure to enjoy the traveling quartet put on by the SMHS Orchestra making the rounds to various businesses and keep an eye out for local photographer, Christopher Paul Cardoza, as he will be walking about capturing the event on film!

This monthly event is hosted by the Downtown Association SMTX and is made possible in part by the Main Street Program of Downtown San Marcos. We can't wait to walkabout with you!
