The San Marcos Art League is proud to announce its third annual Award Show, running from May 6–29, 2026. This juried exhibition at the San Marcos Art Center offers artists of all disciplines the chance to gain professional recognition and compete for 11 cash prizes, including Best in Show and awards across five unique categories.

Awards Show Categories:

Wet – oil, acrylic, watercolor
Dry – drawing, pastels, pencil, charcoal
Fiber and mixed media
Film and digital media, collage
3D – ceramic, sculpture, glass and assemblage

Art must be from 2025 or 2026.
Maximum width of hanging art is 36" including framing.

• You can apply to participate online between March 2 and May 1, 2026.

• Intake for the show will be Sunday, May 3rd, from 1-4pm. 

• The public opening reception will be Friday, May 8th from 6-8pm at the San Marcos Art Center.

• The exhibition will be open for viewing through Friday, May 29th.
