The San Marcos Art League invites you to the Opening Reception of the July Winners Showcase exhibition on Friday, July 10th from 6-8pm at the Art Center. Come and enjoy the marvelous work of these talented artists.proudly displaying the works of the artists that were honored in the May Awards Show.

In the Film and Digital Media, Collage category, the 2025 Best in Category winner Rick Hastie won that award again and Honorable Mention Mia Hamrick will exhibit their unique views of life through a camera lens.  Best in Category winner for 3D art is Clay DeStefano, with Bernardo Meza receiving Honorable Mention. In the category Fiber and Mixed Media, Best in Category winner Lisa McPike Smith  and Honorable Mention Garrie Borden will amaze with the special beauty of their work. Judson McCarrick received Honorable Mention in the category for Oils, Acrylics and Water Colors with Darrell Kurten taking Best in Category. In the category for Pencil, Charcoal and Pastels, another returning award winner, Will Wehmeyer, took Best in Category and Greg Verrett received Honorable Mention. Best in Show was awarded to Lisa Sutton for her work in the Fiber and Mixed Media titled Torrents.

This exhibition will run from Wednesday, July 1 - 31 at the San Marcos Art Center, 117 N Guadalupe, Suite 101.
