This October, the Art League gallery will be transformed with blacklight for our Goth & Glow exhibition. We invite artists to explore the many ways light can bring a spooky, glowing twist to their work. Think UV-reactive paints, glow-in-the-dark threads, fiber optics in glass, EL wire sculptures, or reflective textiles — anything that shines, glows, or transforms under blacklight.

A full list of supply inspiration is available here on our website to help spark your creativity. (Maximum width of hanging art is 36" including framing.)

The Goth & Glow Show will be open for submission from September 8th - October 3rd at 5pm.

Entry is $20 for the general public or $10 for members of the San Marcos Art League. Member’s discount code is at https://artleaguesmtx.org/exhibit (SMAL members should check their email for instructions on how to set up their SMAL membership account to access the members only area without having to renew early.)

Art Intake of Submitted Art (must be ready to display with hanging hardware): Sunday October 5th from 1-4pm at the San Marcos Art Center.

Show Reception: October 10th from 7-9pm
