The Winners Showcase is a celebration of award-winning art created right here in our community. These are the works that rose to the top at the July Awards Show, where Juror Jeff Dell, art faculty member at Texas State University, recognized excellence with First Place and Honorable Mention in five categories, along with the coveted prize for Best in Show.

To be selected was a tremendous achievement for the artists. To host these artists and their work in our community is an honor for us all. The Winners Showcase affirms what we already know: we live in a place of extraordinary creativity, and this exhibition allows us to celebrate that distinction together.

In the Photography category, both 1st Place Winner Rick Hastie and Honorable Mention Melanie Pena will exhibit their unique views of life through a camera lens. 

In the 3D category, Best in Show Winner Jim Robinson and Bridget Hauser Honorable Mention will bring examples of their stunning types of ceramic work while 1st Place Winner Bernardo Meza and his creative metal creatures and sculptures will delight you.

In the Fiber/Mixed Media category, 1st Place winner Michelle Robinson will charm with needle felted art and Honorable Mention Gwendolyn Hustvedt will amaze with the beauty of her batiks on silk.

In the Oils, Acrylics and Water Colors Category, 1st Place winner Mia Lambert and Honorable Mention Winner Marj Jo Cadiz will present more of their stunning paintings.
